RECONNECT WITH GROUNDING

Inflammation is at the root of almost if not all diseases.
Therefore controlling inflammation is integral to the prevention of disease and maintaining and healthy mind body and soul. The easiest and potentially most effective way of preventing these diseases may well be the simple act of connecting our barefeet to the ground. Not the pavement or sidewalk but earth itself. The act of doing this is called grounding or earthing and has been around for centuries. Our earth has electrical charges and when we touch the earth the electrons get absorbed through our feet. Do you ever wonder why everyone always feels so good at the beach? Electrons have a negative charge so they are able to neutralize the positively charged free radicals in our bodies. We are all electrical beings so it would make sense that this process would work.
If you have young children it is critical to avoid metal detectors at the airport. Arrive earlier than normal and ask for a pat down. Kids brains are in the developing stages and there is no need for this exposure when a pat down will suffice.
With advent of technology we are more disconnected from nature then ever before. We now have shoes that buffer us from the earth. Gadgets, cell phones and smart devices have made our lives much easier in a lot of ways and more productive but at what cost? There are side effects to everything and this side effect means less time outdoors. I used to walk or ride my bike to the park to play sports with my friends. We would stay and play and get filthy and muddy. The rule was always be home for dinner and before dark. Fast forward 35 years and I find myself driving my kids all over for their activities. In most cases my son spends more time in the car than he does during his soccer game and he plays the entire game too. There is a remedy for all this craziness and it could not be more simple and free. Slow down occasionally and step on the ground.
Jon’s Tips for Grounding/Avoiding EMF’s
Any opportunity I get you will see me in my bare feet. For instance when I coach my daughters soccer, I arrive in flip flops only to get me from the car to the grass. Then it’s off with the flip flops and time to run around with the girls bare feet. I instantly feel better except the time one of the girls stepped on my foot with her cleat. Ouch! Pros and cons remember.When I run on the boardwalk I always finish by taking my shoes off and walking on the sand to the ocean. Then I jump into the ocean no matter how cold and walk back for my shoes .In our home we have dirty electricity filters that reduce the amount of radiation that comes off the wires in the walls.
We do not use wifi unless absolutely necessary. When have hardwired our computers Turn on airplane mode when you are in the car with your kids. The radiation from your phone stays within the car. At least roll down a couple windows. Avoid using microwaves to heat up your food. You are radiating your food. If you have young children it is critical to avoid metal detectors at the airport. So go ahead and kick your shoes off and stay a while. Try it and see for yourself. Why not, it won’t cost you a dime and it may well make you feel much better and reduce inflammation along the way. My guess is that you will feel much better just as long as you don’t step on a bee!
